The common floor team has recently relocated their head-office to a new office building at Dour, off the Dour main road, in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Common floor has achieved yet another milestone, where they are not only doubling their turnover and profit figures but have also been expanding their Common floor family extensively, in the recent past. This was the main reason behind getting a new office space which would serve as a ‘common floor’ for all the employees to function together as a team.

The building has state-of-the-art architecture with all amenities and facilities of a modern day corporate setting. The building has 3 stories, with the first two being work-space and the third being a cafeteria and a chill zone, to help employees rejuvenate during their break from work. The building has been designed from scratch to reflect the company’s culture and work environment. The work culture at commonfloor is lively, interactive and innovative.

Here, the office premises has also got seven rooms which are called the ‘thinking zones’; the doors of these rooms are open to employee who want some free space to sit, think and create in peace and silence, either by themselves or in small groups. These thinking zones have been well through out by the top level management to encourage their employees to be creative and innovative as they have always done in Common Floor. Apart from this there is also aconference room with a projector and LCD set in place and ready to be used, an electronic access control EAC entrance door with access cards gives to all employees, central air conditioning, hi-speed internet and Wi-Fi enabled, individual work-station for all employees with systems, a shower room for employees who come to work directly from the gym and also a dedicated ‘smoking zone’ on the balcony for the regular smokers.
